Soma Wolverine gravel build. Complete with Velo Orange cockpit and rims, plus a full 11-speed extended range drivetrain and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. This build is rounded out with a Brooks B17 saddle and leather bar tape.
This is the do-all trail bike purpose built for the PNW. Surly Instigator frame with interchangeable dropouts set up for a Rohloff 14-speed internally geared hub with the disc brake option, laced to Surly Rabbit Hole 26+ rims. Tires are 26x2.9 to float over mud bogs and along gravel roads. The Fox 32 fork, SLX brakes, Reverb dropper post, and full RaceFace cockpit round out this trail rig.
This is an update build of an older Independent Fabrication Planet X cyclocross frameset. It's been reconfigured as a no-nonsense commuter with period-correct parts, from the 1" Ibis titanium stem, to the Syncros forged crankset and Spinergy Rev-X wheels. The drivetrain is spec'd with a 1x9 with a Shimano Deore XT M785 rear derailleur and an Ultegra barcon shifter repositioned with a Paul Components Thumbie mount.
